9th Edition of FORITAAL - ITALIAN FORUM AMBIENT-ASSISTED LIVING
ForItAAL is the annual event where professionals, businesses, policy makers, research institutions, and universities discuss the challenges of aging and demographic change. The aim is to promote innovation, knowledge, and opportunities in the fields of Ambient Assisted Living, Active & Healthy Aging, and Smart Living. Respected national and international speakers will contribute to the debate.
The Forum is organized by InnovAAL (Public-Private Association for Research, Development, Experimentation, and Validation of Innovative Technologies and Services for Ambient Assisted Living), AitAAL (Italian Association of Ambient Assisted Living), and the National Technology Cluster "Smart Living Technologies," which will use the Forum as its annual forum for discussion among its members.
Important Apulian public institutions and national associations will participate in the event as co-organizers.
The Organizing Committee invites all interested parties to submit scientific papers, which will be peer-reviewed and published in the Forum proceedings and/or in a prestigious international journal indexed by Scopus (full information is available at http://www.foritaal2018.it/call-for-paper/).
The deadlines for paper submissions are:
Paper submission – April 29, 2018
Paper acceptance notification – May 13, 2018
Final paper contribution – May 27, 2018
In an effort to promote and support young people's interest in active and healthy aging, ForItAAL 2018 will award cash prizes to the best papers proposed and presented by researchers under 35.
The Organizing Committee is also pleased to invite students and young researchers to the 5th Edition of the ForItAAL Summer School, which offers a stimulating opportunity to explore topics related to assistive technologies and their applications in a multidisciplinary context under the supervision of authoritative academics and industry.
