Circular Economy Transition Manager: guiding companies of the furniture value chain to deploy their transition strategy for a more circular economy. https://circler-furniture.eu/ https://www.linkedin.com/groups/9844062/ The transition toward a more Circular Economy of the relevant and growing EU Furniture sector requires companies to properly guide this process and its challenges. The sector lacks the occupational profile of the Circular Economy Transition Manager (CETM) and the related necessary training. CirCLER will deliver CETM new joint curricula (EQF4, 5, 6) filling in the gaps of current related green, digital, transversal skills, taking into account EU VET and HE policies and principles (ECTS, EQF, EQAVET). It will create an innovative training toolkit including several multimedia and interactive materials and tools, enabling EU VET providers and HEIs to train professionals to successfully lead this transition along the furniture sector whole value chain. The work-based training toolkit will be available in 7 EU languages and target students and workers through customizable training paths adaptable to specific SKCs needs. It will be tested in a Pilot Course by 400 learners and validated by stakeholders and recognized within and outside the alliance thanks to the signature of MoUs. CirCLER will also look into ESCO profiles affected by CETM new tasks.

FLIER project The Future of Furniture - circular furniture designers for a sustainable industry https://flierproject.com/ FLIER project is committed in providing to the furniture sector a new and innovative figure: the Circular Furniture Designer. With this aim, we want to help companies to deal with challenges and opportunities presented by the upcoming legislation on the circular transition. The online courses will give a support in filling – in the skills and knowledge gaps of the sector, improving the field of green skills and circular economy.
