DANTE is a cutting-edge project focused on supporting the digital transition of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), public administration organizations, and professionals working in the fields of active and healthy aging, ambient-assisted living (AAL), and smart environments. The goal is to ensure that these organizations can effectively navigate the digital transition in these strategic areas. The Digital Innovation Hub Accelerator aims to support the European network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) to facilitate technology transfer and social innovation.

The DANTE project will have significant impacts on multiple levels: for end users, primarily older adults and individuals with disabilities, by increasing their independence in daily life in terms of safety, reducing loneliness, and supporting physical and mental health conditions; for caregivers (both professional and otherwise), by providing them with digital information, skills, and tools for continuous monitoring of their patients, simplifying and optimizing care processes; on public and social health services, helping to reduce costs and improving the effectiveness and quality of care; and finally, on public administrations, supporting communication between administrations (at the regional, national, and international levels) and citizens, professionals, and businesses operating in the fields of active aging and technology-driven smart living.
