The free webinar, “Artificial Intelligence + assessment and interior furnishing design tools for smart environments,” scheduled for July 24 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, aims to explore these very synergies.

A Program Rich in Content and Expert Interventions
The webinar will offer a detailed overview of the latest AI applications and practical tools for evaluating and improving sustainability in design. The session will kick off at 3:00 PM with an introduction to the proceedings and the concept of CSM-diD.
Subsequently, the topic of Artificial Intelligence serving SMEs will be explored in depth, with an intervention by Roscioli Development and Daniele Roscioli. This will be followed by a focus on assessment platforms for circularity, with an intervention by Massimiliano Rumignani (AMBIT) who will present “FurnCIRCLE – circularity self-assessment tool.”
A key moment will be dedicated to measuring the circularity of furniture products: from a qualitative to a quantitative approach, with practical examples like EUCLID and CIRCULARTOOL, illustrated by Marco Capellini (MATREC).
The second part of the webinar will focus on design tools. Innovative solutions such as COLUX and AI4FURN will be presented, with interventions by Cosimo Savio. The program will conclude with the presentation of W2M, a platform and CAD tool for integrating circular materials into furniture design, by Sapienza University of Rome and Viktor Malakucz.
