SPEED INNOVATION DAY - 10 OCTOBER 2024
As part of SPEED INNOVATION, a day of meetings will be held on October 10th at the Design Campus in Calenzano, Florence. The aim is to provide insights to manufacturing companies (Made in Italy, with a particular focus on the furniture and interior design sector) to address future economic and social challenges, including through the exploration of tools, opportunities, and skills.
The meeting is open to all companies in the interiors, living spaces, and wood-furniture supply chain. In the morning, we will discuss the new PRODUCT ECO-DESIGN REGULATION with leading players such as FEDERLEGNO ARREDO, EFIC (European Furniture Industries Confederation), and technical experts.
The morning will be followed by presentations of existing tools to support businesses: training courses developed through Erasmus+ projects, co-design platforms for
sustainable design with AR/VR and AI.
The afternoon will be managed in collaboration with the extended partnership "MICS – Made in Italy Circular and Sustainable" and coordinated with the Next Technology Tecnotessile textile and fashion district and the Navigo nautical district.
Thematic working groups will follow, involving interested companies directly.
