The week's program included the participation of a group of design students in the workshop "Design for Sustainability: Challenges and Opportunities," organized at the University of Florence's Design Campus with the support of the DIDA Department of Architecture.

For two days, the group was hosted at the University of Pisa's Department of Engineering and at the University of Siena's Santa Chiara FabLab.

The group also had the opportunity to visit several local furniture companies, including Savio Firmino Srl, Marioni Srl, Ceccotti Collezioni Srl, Edra Spa, and New Design Porte Srl.
